UpNorth Music Studio Outreach

UpNorth Music's on-the-road recording sessions have ended. In the second phase of the project, we are inviting one act per month into our state-of-the-art recording studio at North Country Public Radio in Canton, New York for a free ten-hour recording session, and an additional five hours of mixing/editing time from our production engineer. To apply for one the upcoming monthly sessions go to the application page, fill in and submit the form.

Chosen acts will come away with a professionally recorded and mixed selection of work on CD that they can use however they wish--as part of a commercial CD package, for posting online, or as a demo for recording companies and concert venues. Selections may also be made available to the public via the UpNorth Music website, and the concert hall pages at North Country Public Radio's website.
